this week flew by v. fast.
Juggled two performances in one week.

First was the one at ITE Bishan on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, things got screwed up.
Then I was v. disappointed.
I didn't had time to regain composure.
In da end, I wasn't satisfied with my performance.
I was wearing this new favourite top some more which looked lyke somethin' from Gossip Girl...wasted ):
-ok that part is girl talk. hahaha.
& while I was singing take a bow, the lyrics made me feel more worst T.T
if yknw whad I mean lol.

Secondly was the dance performance at ITE Macpherson tday.
Hip-hop meets Soul.
ouhh, currently our group is called Dance Connection heh.
Dance Connection = D.C.
& d.c. usually stands for disconnected in chat lingo.

We had practices everyday this week.

Oh ya, I dnt usually talk about food served during events cos they're all da same to me.
But this one deserves a mention.
It was super delicious :D
If I'm not wrong it was catered by ISS.
no idea what it stands for.
They had this brown rice which you usually serve in a claypot that kind.
Then they had side dishes such as curry chicken, duno-what-fillet.
& the mango pudding was yummy!
I almost wanted a 2nd round. LOL.

oh yes, something else deserves a mention too hehe.

I just hope they don't clash cos I don't know when's the modern dance one.

I fell in love with it once I tried it lol.
I was goin' to choir rehearsal that time with Zhi Xiang, walking while eating it then suddenly when I came to da cheese part, I exclaimed! LOL.
Cos da cheese is super creamy & rich!
Seriously, it's heavenly. haaaaa :D

Btw, did you know that cheese has tryptophan?
It increases our serotonin levels which makes us more rational, happier, calmer & less stressed.

Clubbing @ DXO!

Wenta DXO with my mom, her friend; Yani, Sabrina, Sin Mei & Chin Ying.

I love the dancefloor.
I don't know why but it has a way of getting me lost in the da music & making me dance lyke nobody's watching.
It makes me feel free.
Then there's that side of me which people (& myself, actually) rarely get to see.

Anyways, there was also a band playing there, Passionista.
Gosh, I love their vocals.
So smooth & I love the way they hit da high notes effortlessly.
I asked my mom why their voice was so smooth..
she said most prob. cos they've been doin' it for a long time already.
Aaaahhh I wish I had smoother vocals.
Nevermind, anything's possible...hehe. (:

HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! :D

My celebration this year was an exciting one cos I got to be part of the choir @ the Padang!
When I thought of "padang", I was thinking of this padang @ Marina where my relatives used to bring me to.
Totally forgot there's this beeeeg padang near Raffles City Mall there heh.
If I'm not wrong, I've only went there once before haha.
Anyways, remember da tixs I got?
It's for the padang, not da one at da floating stage heh.
But in da end, it wasn't used cos my mom decided to attend her friend's open house instead.
Eeeeeee...haha.

National Day Celebration @ ITE Bishan.

I'm so happy I got to perform for da school heh.
AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN! hahaha :D

Oh yes, there's somethin' I have to remind myself.
Note to self:

#1 most important thing when performing:
HAVE FUN.

Cos for some previous performances, I was busy making sure I didn't screw up that I forgot to enjoy & have fun.
Which actually should be my main aim.
I guess this all started when I had some standards to live up to when the management is involved in such events.
But whads da point of doin' somethin' you love when you don't have fun while you're at it ryte? heh.

Ouhh, IES!
I heard Colin came super early (even earlier than tijah haha!) so he wouldn't miss my performance.
Those who were mending their SBC booth rushed to the foyer (screaming while they were at it? lol.) just to watch my performance.
Then there were those who were in da audience screaming lyke mad haha.
I'm so touched! y'all so cute laa hehe.

ITE Graduation Ceremony Performance @ NUS's UCC.

My very first performance slot given by Mr Baron ever since I joined cmTEA's Vocal Training @ Clementi.
Too bad he wasn't around to watch it :/
Together with Apple, Aimee & Amanda, we sang Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion.
Eventually we had to do some changes to our outfits & I ended up wearing my own stuff instead of the outfit that was bought :P
